Polymarket soccer: Premier League and Champions League odds
By WhaleSays Editorial · Updated · 8 min read
Polymarket prices a soccer game as three separate markets: one for each team to win and one for a draw. Each is a Yes/No share that pays $1 if it comes true, so the price in cents is the chance: 47¢ is a 47% chance, +113 in American odds and 2.13 in decimal odds. ESPN reported on 27 January 2026 that MLS reached a prediction-market deal with Polymarket, and the Premier League and Champions League are listed too.

Win, draw, win: how a three-way game is priced
A sportsbook writes a soccer game as one 1X2 bet with three prices. On Polymarket each result is its own market. For Everton FC vs. Coventry City FC, the markets are “Will the home team win?”, “Will the away team win?” and “Will the game end in a draw?”, each with a Yes price and a No price. The cards above show the Yes prices, because that is the bet you are making.
Three markets mean the three prices do not have to add to 100¢. The sum is shown on every card, and it is the nearest thing to a bookmaker's overround: if the three add to 101¢, a share of every result would cost $1.01 for a $1 payout. A bookmaker's margin is hidden in its odds, and here it shows up in the sum, in the gap between the buy and sell price, and in the taker fee.
The draw is a price like any other. At 28¢ it is +257 in American odds and 3.57 in decimal, a 28% chance. Each market also has a No share, so you can back a team not to win or a draw not to happen. Beyond the result, the extra events beside each game (“More Markets”, “Exact Score”, “Halftime Result” and others) carried spreads, totals, team totals, both teams to score, first-half markets, exact score and, for Premier League games, corners, when we read them on 3 November 2026.
What the soccer market rules say
Soccer rules come with two surprises for a sportsbook bettor. These points come from the market rules of Galatasaray SK vs. VfB Stuttgart (3 November 2026), in our words, and the live quotes below are read from the markets listed above.
- Only the first 90 minutes count. The rules say a result market refers only to the outcome within the first 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time. As we read it, a knockout tie that goes to extra time or penalties is still a draw for these markets.
- A canceled game pays the draw. If a game is canceled entirely with no make-up game, the team markets resolve No and the draw market resolves Yes. A postponed game keeps its markets open until it has been played. A sportsbook may refund such bets instead.
- The data source is named. Results follow the official statistics of the governing body. If those are not published within two hours of the final whistle, the rules allow Flashscore and then Sofascore, and revisions after settlement are not counted.
- Spreads. A spread of Arsenal FC (−1.5) resolves to Arsenal if they win by two or more goals, and to the opponent otherwise. It counts the 90 minutes only.
Rules text as Polymarket publishes it on today's upcoming soccer games, quoted from the market's own description. It is the rules text, not our summary.
“If the game is canceled entirely, with no make-up game, this market will resolve "No".”
“This market refers only to the outcome within the first 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time.”
“If the game ends in a draw, this market will resolve to "Yes".”
“If the game is postponed, this market will remain open until the game has been completed.”
“If the game is canceled entirely, with no make-up game, this market will resolve to "Yes".”
“This market refers only to the outcome within the first 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time.”
Polymarket Premier League: matchday and season markets
Premier League games sit in the list above under their own heading when any are scheduled. Season-long markets cover the title race, and when we looked on 3 November 2026 they also covered finishing in the top four, top five and top six, the top goalscorer, most clean sheets and relegation questions. Each is a Yes/No share.
Depth differs by game. The Premier League games we read, three to four days from kickoff, had each traded between a few hundred dollars and about $7K, while the biggest Champions League games on match day had traded hundreds of thousands of dollars. The “traded so far” line on each card shows where a game stands. Our Premier League winner odds page follows the title race.
Polymarket Champions League: games and the winner market
Champions League games use the same three-way layout, and the 90-minute rule matters most in the knockout rounds, where a draw after 90 minutes is common and the market still settles on it. For the season-long question, the Champions League winner odds page shows every club's live price. Polymarket also lists other competitions, from the Saudi Pro League and the EFL Championship to MLS, which appear under “Other leagues” when they are busy.

A 1X2 line against three Polymarket prices
Here is an invented game to show the sums. A bookmaker offers 2.10, 3.40, 3.60 on home, draw and away, and Polymarket shows 47¢, 28¢, 26¢. The taker fee uses the 0.05 rate in Polymarket’s market data for the games above.
| Result | Bookmaker decimal | Its implied chance | Polymarket price | Taker fee on $100 | Chance you pay for after the fee |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Home win | 2.10 | 47.62% | 47¢ | $2.65 | 48.25% |
| Draw | 3.40 | 29.41% | 28¢ | $3.60 | 29.01% |
| Away win | 3.60 | 27.78% | 26¢ | $3.70 | 26.96% |
| All three added | 104.81% | 101¢ | 104.22% |
The bookmaker's three chances add up to 104.81%, an overround of 4.81%. On Polymarket the prices add to 101¢ and a taker also pays the fee, which brings the total you pay for to 104.22%. In this made-up case the two totals are 0.6 points apart, and a limit order that waits to be filled would skip the fee. Real games differ in both directions. The Polymarket odds converter compares your bookmaker's actual line with a live price, and Polymarket vs sportsbooks explains how to take the margin out.
If a sportsbook has limited your account, read what to do when a sportsbook limits your account. Polymarket's docs say its order book has no trading size limits, and depth is the real limit, so check what a game has traded before you size a bet.
Who wins at sports on Polymarket
Polymarket's sports leaderboard covers every sport together, not just soccer. Its top sports trader over the last 30 days, BreakTheBank, made $6.7M. Leaderboards show the survivors: a Wall Street Journal analysis published in May 2026 found that 67% of Polymarket's profits went to 0.1% of accounts, so most traders earn far less and many lose money. See the Polymarket sports leaderboard for the ranking by day, week, month and all time, and the payout calculator for what a trade at any price would return.
Start small and read the rules first
A $20 trade is enough to learn how the order screen, the fee and the sell button work. Read the market rules before you buy, and only trade money you can afford to lose.
Frequently asked questions
- Does Polymarket have Premier League betting?
- You can trade Premier League games and season markets. Each game has three markets, one for each team to win and one for a draw, and season markets cover the title and other finishes. You trade with other users rather than a bookmaker, and a share pays $1 if it is right.
- How is the draw priced on Polymarket?
- The draw is its own Yes/No market. A draw priced at 28¢ is a 28% chance, which is +257 in American odds and 3.57 in decimal. The three Yes prices of a game do not have to add to exactly 100¢, and their sum is a rough guide to how much margin is in the prices.
- Do extra time and penalties count on Polymarket soccer markets?
- In the result markets we read on 3 November 2026 (Galatasaray SK vs. VfB Stuttgart), the rules say the market refers only to the first 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time. As we read it, a knockout game that goes to extra time or penalties is still a draw for those markets.
- What happens if a soccer game is postponed or canceled?
- In the markets we read, a postponed game keeps its markets open until it has been played. If the game is canceled entirely with no make-up game, the team markets resolve No and the draw market resolves Yes. A sportsbook may refund bets instead, so compare the rules.
- What is the fee on Polymarket soccer markets?
- Takers pay shares × fee rate × price × (1 − price), and a limit order that waits to be filled pays nothing. Polymarket's market data lists a rate of 0.05 on current soccer games. At 50¢ that is 2.5% of the trade, and less at lower or higher prices.
- Are there Champions League winner odds on Polymarket?
- Yes. Polymarket lists the winner of the Champions League as a Yes/No share for each club, and our Champions League winner odds page shows the live prices and the rules that settle the market. The Premier League title race has its own page too.
- Can I trade soccer on Polymarket from the US or the UK?
- Not on polymarket.com for new trades. It is closed to new trades in the United States, where a separate CFTC-regulated app called Polymarket US exists, and Polymarket's own list shows the UK, Germany, France and Australia as restricted. Check our availability page and read your local rules.
