Probability is the share price. Decimal odds show what $1 returns if that outcome wins, before fees. American odds show the same price as a moneyline: +150 pays $150 on a $100 stake, −200 needs $200 to win $100.

How this market resolves

This market will resolve according to the team that wins the 2026-27 UEFA Champions League Championship.

If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed team to win the 2026-27 UEFA Champions League Championship per the rules of UEFA Champions League (e.g., they are eliminated in the playoffs), the corresponding market will resolve to "No".

If the 2026-27 UEFA Champions League season is cancelled, postponed after June 19, 2027, 11:59 PM ET or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other".

The primary resolution source will be official information from UEFA Champions League; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.

Rules are written by Polymarket and shown as published. WhaleSays does not settle markets.

What this market asks

Which club will win the 2026-27 UEFA Champions League? Each club has its own Yes/No market, and the price is the market's implied probability that it wins the trophy. Clubs that are knocked out go to zero, so the field narrows as the season goes on and the remaining prices rise. That is why the leader's price can rise sharply after a rival goes out, even when the leader did not play.

How it resolves and key dates

A club's market resolves to Yes if it wins the 2026-27 Champions League. If it becomes impossible for a club to win under UEFA's rules, for example by being eliminated in the play-offs, its market resolves to No. If the season is cancelled, or no winner is declared by June 19, 2027 (11:59 PM ET), the market resolves to Other. Polymarket uses official UEFA information as the main source.

The competition starts with a 36-team league phase, in which each club plays eight matches. The top eight go straight to the round of 16, teams placed ninth to 24th enter a knockout play-off round, and the final is a single match at the end of the season.

What moves these odds

Results are the obvious driver, but the draw matters as much. A favorite who lands on the harder side of the bracket loses points the moment the draw is made, and an early exit by a rival lifts everyone else on its side.

Injuries to key players, managerial changes, domestic fixture congestion and the gap between league-phase finishing positions all feed into the price. Before the season, summer transfers and squad strength set the starting order.

Common questions

New to this? Our guide covers how to make your first trade.

How does the Champions League league phase work?
36 clubs each play eight matches against different opponents. The top eight go directly to the round of 16, and those in ninth to 24th play a two-leg knockout play-off for the remaining places.
What happens to a club's market when it is eliminated?
It resolves to No immediately, because it is no longer possible for that club to win the competition.
When does this market resolve?
When UEFA confirms the winner of the 2026-27 final. If the season is cancelled or no winner is declared by June 19, 2027 (11:59 PM ET), it resolves to Other.
Do outright odds and match odds measure the same thing?
No. Outright odds are the chance of winning the whole tournament, which needs several wins in a row. A club can be a heavy favorite in any single match and still have a modest outright price.
Who is the favorite in UEFA Champions League: 2027 Champion?
Barcelona is the favorite at 24%, followed by Paris Saint-Germain at 18% and Arsenal at 14%. Prices are the market's implied probabilities and update as traders buy and sell.
Will Barcelona win the 2026-27 UEFA Champions League Championship?
Polymarket traders give Barcelona a 24% chance of winning the 2026-27 Champions League, which is decimal odds of 4.26 (American +326): $1 staked on Barcelona returns about $4.26 if it resolves Yes, before fees. In the last 24 hours the price moved by less than 0.1 points.
