Polymarket Referral Code: What Actually Exists Outside the US

Outside the United States there is no Polymarket referral code to enter and no sign-up bonus: you open an account on polymarket.com, and Polymarket's referral program pays only the person who referred you. US residents use a separate app, Polymarket US, which does run promo codes through media partners. WhaleSays has no Polymarket US code.

Is there a Polymarket referral code outside the US?
No code is needed to join. Polymarket's documentation describes its prediction-market referral program in terms of links: someone shares a market or profile page, and a new user who signs up within 30 days of clicking it counts as their referral (Referral Program). The page lists what the referrer earns. It does not mention a bonus, a discount or a code field for the new user.
That is why the “Polymarket promo code”, “sign-up bonus” and “invite code” pages you find in search are mostly about Polymarket US, a different product. According to those docs, on polymarket.com a referral link costs you nothing and earns you nothing. It only decides who is credited. Our affiliate disclosure explains what we earn when you use ours.
Polymarket Perps does use codes
The one product with real codes is Polymarket Perps. According to its referral program docs, every Perps account has one referral code, which is the same string as its Perps invite code, shared as polymarket.com/perps?c=CODE. The referrer earns 20% of the fees the invited trader pays, and the docs state that no separate bonus is paid to the trader who is invited. Each code has an invite limit that starts at 10 and grows with Perps volume. Whether you need a code to open Perps depends on Polymarket's access rules at the time, so check when you sign up.
Polymarket international vs Polymarket US
Looking for a Polymarket bonus code as an international user? The answer depends on which of two separate products you can use. That depends on where you live, and only one of them has a new-user bonus.

How Polymarket’s referral programs work
Most visitors here just want to join. If you want to refer friends yourself, these are the rules of the three programs. Polymarket can change all of them without notice.
Prediction markets on polymarket.com
- Who can earn: anyone with $10,000 in lifetime trading volume. You can share links before that, but rewards only start once you cross it.
- What you earn: 10% of the net trading fees of direct referrals and 5% of their referrals' (indirect). “Net” means after the referred user's own tier rebate.
- For how long: a referral counts if they sign up within 30 days of clicking your link. Rewards on them end after 30 days or when they reach the Platinum tier, whichever is first.
- Payouts: daily at midnight UTC, in pUSD. Fee-free markets, including geopolitics, earn nothing. Self-referrals and inauthentic trading can be disqualified.

Polymarket Perps
- One referral code per account, identical to the Perps invite code. Link format:
polymarket.com/perps?c=CODE. - The referrer earns 20% of the fees paid by each referred Perps trader, with no cap per trader, paid weekly.
- Invite limits: 10 at the start, 25 after those are used, then up to 100, 250 or 500 as combined Perps volume reaches $100,000, $500,000 and $1,000,000. An account keeps the first code it receives, and you cannot use your own.

Polymarket US refer-a-friend
- Your Polymarket US username is your code. The friend must be new, enter it at sign-up and deposit at least $10.
- Each of you gets a $25 trading credit after the friend signs up with your code, completes onboarding and deposits at least $10. Credits arrive within 7 days. Up to 50 referrals per person.

How to sign up on Polymarket: the short version
- Check your country. Polymarket restricts new positions in many places (its geoblock list). Our availability page turns it into a country-by-country answer. US residents should use Polymarket US.
- Create the account on polymarket.com with email, Google or an external wallet such as MetaMask. Do not use a VPN to get around a block.
- Deposit. Network minimums are low ($2 on most chains). We suggest $20 for a first deposit. There is no bonus to unlock, so deposit only what you plan to trade.
- Pick a market and read its resolution rules before you buy. The events page lists big markets with live odds, and the whale feed shows where large traders are active.
- Trade small. You can lose everything you stake.

Fake referral codes and “free $50” offers
Referral codes attract scams because people search for them hoping for free money. Here is what Polymarket's own documentation supports:
- The referral rules for the main site describe rewards for the referrer only. Nothing in them gives a new user free funds, a bonus or a fee discount.
- A code that “unlocks $50” or “cuts your fees” on polymarket.com is therefore not a Polymarket program. Some are affiliate pages making a claim they cannot back up, some are scams.
- Polymarket's Help Center tells users to be wary of scams claiming airdrops or giveaways and says its announcements come only from polymarket.com, its X account and its Discord (Help Center, updated June 24, 2026).
Polymarket US promo codes: what US readers should know
US residents cannot open new positions on polymarket.com. They use Polymarket US, a separate CFTC-regulated app that verifies every user before they can deposit. Its new-user incentives work like this, according to the Polymarket US incentive terms:
- Deposit incentive: deposit at least $10 within 7 days of onboarding and receive $25 (Campaign A, from October 16, 2026). Only your first deposit after onboarding counts, and you can get one credit.
- Codes: you qualify for the campaign tied to the code or link you used at onboarding, or the campaign in effect if you used none. Media partners publish the codes. On November 1, 2026, CBS Sports listed CBSSPORTS as deposit $10, get $25. Partner pages have advertised different amounts over time (we saw $20, $25 and $50 offers in search results), so confirm the current one.
- Credit rules: credits are promotional trading credits. Your own funds are used first, and the credit itself cannot be withdrawn as cash. Credits are applied within 24 hours of a confirmed qualifying deposit.

- Polymarket's sign-up and wallet documentation does not describe an invite code for the main prediction-market app. Polymarket Perps is different: its docs say each account's Perps referral code is also its Perps invite code, and every code has an invite limit. Access rules can change, so check at sign-up.
- How does the Polymarket referral program pay?
