Polymarket NFL: this week's game odds, spreads and fees

By WhaleSays Editorial · Updated · 7 min read

Polymarket lists each NFL game as a market where you trade shares in each team with other people. A share pays $1 if its team wins, so the price in cents is the chance: 70¢ is a 70% chance, −233 in American odds and 1.43 in decimal odds. Each game carries hundreds of other markets (spreads, totals, quarters and player props), and the taker fee on NFL game markets is lower than the sports rate on Polymarket’s fee page: 0.03 in Polymarket’s market data, against 0.05.

How an NFL week looks on Polymarket

An NFL week usually has a Thursday night game, a Sunday slate and a Monday night game, and the list above shows the busiest of them. Polymarket posts a long menu early: the Jaguars vs. Ravens event we read on 3 November 2026 held 305 markets days before kickoff. The full-game moneyline and spread are there, and so are first-half and second-half moneylines, spreads and totals for each quarter, team totals, the exact margin of victory, and markets on passing, rushing and receiving yards, receptions and touchdowns. The player markets sit in a separate “Player Props” event beside the game.

Spreads and totals are ladders with one market per line, so you pick the number you like. That also spreads the trading thin. The games we read had traded from a few hundred dollars to about $60K each, mostly a few thousand, and the longer ladders had far less. A thin market has a wider gap between the price to buy and the price to sell, and the gap is a cost on top of the fee. The list above shows what each game has traded so far.

The moneyline question is simple: “who wins Jaguars vs. Ravens”, with a share for each team. A winning share pays $1 and a losing share pays $0. You can sell before the end, which is how you lock in a gain or cut a loss; on a sportsbook that is a cash-out. The sports betting guide translates the other bet types.

What the NFL market rules say

The rules text decides ties, postponements and absent players. These points come from the live NFL markets we read on 3 November 2026, in our words. The quotes below them are read from the markets listed above.

  • Overtime and ties. The moneyline for Jets vs. Chiefs says overtime is included if played, and that a tie resolves the market 50-50. Polymarket's resolution docs say a 50-50 resolution redeems every share at $0.50.
  • Postponed or canceled. A postponed game keeps the market open until it has been played. A game canceled with no make-up game resolves 50-50.
  • Totals. For Jaguars vs. Ravens at 24.5, “Over” wins if the two teams score 25 or more points between them.
  • Player props. The anytime-touchdown market we read resolves Yes if the player scores one or more rushing or receiving touchdowns, and defensive and special teams touchdowns do not count. If the player is inactive or does not play, the rules say the market resolves No. That is the rule to compare with your sportsbook's, which may treat a player who sits out differently.

Rules text as Polymarket publishes it on today's upcoming NFL games, quoted from the market's own description. It is the rules text, not our summary.

Market rules for “Bengals vs. Falcons”

“Overtime is included if played.”

“If the game ends in a tie, this market will resolve 50-50.”

“If the game is postponed, this market will remain open until the game has been completed.”

“If the game is canceled entirely, with no make-up game, this market will resolve 50-50.”

Market rules for “Bhayshul Tuten: Anytime Touchdown” (Jaguars vs. Ravens - Player Props)

“Defensive and special teams touchdowns do not count.”

“Overtime is included if played.”

“If the player is inactive or does not play, this market will resolve to "No".”

The NFL game fee is lower than the usual sports fee

Polymarket's fee page lists one taker rate for sports, 0.05, and our fees guide follows it. The market data for NFL games reads differently. The games above list a taker fee rate of 0.03, under a fee schedule whose label names the NFL and college football, while player props, exact margin and most first- and second-half moneylines listed 0.05. Polymarket decides which rate applies and shows the fee on the order screen, so confirm it there before you buy.

The fee is shares × rate × price × (1 − price), charged to takers only. As a share of your trade it equals rate × (1 − price), so it is biggest for long shots: 3.75% at 25¢, a price we saw on an anytime-touchdown market, against 1.5% at 50¢ on a game market.

A 25¢ share is +300 in American odds and 4.00 in decimal. $100 buys 400 shares for $103.75 with the 0.05 fee, and they pay $400 if the player scores. The 50¢ market is made up and has no gap between the buy and sell price; a real one does. Use the Polymarket odds converter to set your bookmaker's line against a real price.

Super Bowl and conference futures

Season markets work like game markets: every team or player is a Yes/No share that pays $1 if it comes true. Our Super Bowl page follows the title race and its rules, and these were open at the last refresh.

Size and limits on an NFL slate

Sportsbooks set their own limits and can restrict individual accounts. Polymarket's docs say its order book has no trading size limits, so what limits you is depth. With games trading in the thousands of dollars, a bet that a sportsbook would take without a second look can move a Polymarket price, and you are the one who pays for it. Read what to do when a sportsbook limits your account before you move money, and start small.

Who wins at sports on Polymarket

Polymarket's sports leaderboard covers every sport together, not just NFL. Its top sports trader over the last 30 days, BreakTheBank, made $6.7M. Leaderboards show the survivors: a Wall Street Journal analysis published in May 2026 found that 67% of Polymarket's profits went to 0.1% of accounts, so most traders earn far less and many lose money. See the Polymarket sports leaderboard for the ranking by day, week, month and all time, and the payout calculator for what a trade at any price would return.

Frequently asked questions

Can you bet on NFL games on Polymarket?
You can trade them. Polymarket lists each NFL game with a market for the winner, spreads, totals, quarters and halves and player props, and a share pays $1 if it is right. You trade with other users instead of a bookmaker, and whether you can open an account depends on your country.
How do I read a Polymarket NFL price as American odds?
The price in cents is the chance, and it converts to any odds format. A 70¢ price is −233 in American odds and 1.43 in decimal, and 30¢ is +233 and 3.33. The odds converter on this site does it for any price.
Does overtime count, and what happens in a tie?
In the NFL moneyline we read on 3 November 2026 (Jets vs. Chiefs), overtime is included if played, and a tie resolves the market 50-50, which redeems every share at $0.50. Postponed games keep the market open until they are played. Rules can differ by market, so read the one you trade.
What happens to an NFL player prop if the player does not play?
For the anytime-touchdown market we read on 3 November 2026, the rules say that if the player is inactive or does not play, the market resolves No. A sportsbook may refund such a bet instead, so compare the rules before you assume the two work alike.
What is the fee on Polymarket NFL markets?
Takers pay shares × fee rate × price × (1 − price), and limit orders that wait to be filled pay nothing. Polymarket's market data lists 0.03 on the current NFL game markets, while Polymarket's fee page lists 0.05 for sports and NFL player props listed 0.05. Check the order screen for the exact fee.
Is Polymarket NFL betting available in the US?
Not on polymarket.com, which is closed to new trades in the United States. Polymarket runs a separate CFTC-regulated app, Polymarket US, with its own markets and fees. Check our availability page for the list of countries, and read your local rules.
Are there Super Bowl odds on Polymarket?
Yes. Polymarket lists the winner of the NFL season, each conference and other season-long markets as Yes/No shares. Our Super Bowl odds page shows every team's live price and the rules that settle the market.
